Our president uses extreme statistics and extreme facts that support his agenda. These are cherry-picked. This is what every politician does to support he agenda, he cherry-picks those statistics and those facts that support his agenda, no matter how extreme or misleading they may be. That is what the president does. That makes him, in the most negative sense, a “politician,” just what he claimed not to be.
The media – love them or hate them – The media still ferrets out the injustices, the lies, the corruption. And if the only way you can handle them is to block them from attending news “gaggles” then you are in over your head.
I believe that the media – the mainstream media, both left AND the right – is an enemy ONLY to those who have something to hide. That includes corporate offices as well as back-room politics. The media has, time after time, ferreted out injustice, scandal and outright criminal activity by those who want to hide. Those who label the media as an enemy are those who are not on your side.
